We are currently very busy at GRS with a lot of donors on the centre.
The range of breeds includes Wagyu, Holsteins, Angus, Ayrshires and even some Scottish Highland cows with calves at foot.
We have been regularly sexing embryos from a number of Holstein cows with the ratio of males to females about 52:48 which is right on average but the results from individual donors varies enormously.
We have a number of Wagyu donors on the export centre, flushing mainly for China, but we are able to collect embryos for many other countries if required.
About Us
GRS is owned and run by Dom and Jo-anne Bayard. We both have a lifetime of experience with cattle having both grown up on dairy farms and continued in the beef and dairy industries since finishing education. We own and run our own Wagyu and Mont Beliarde cattle herds and understand the highs and lows of being cattle breeders. We empathise with and understand cattle breeders, and this gives our clients peace of mind knowing their valuable donors are being cared for 24/7 by experienced operators.
